Job summary

Intergrated Pain Management SC is seeking a registered nurse to perform the nursing process across ambulatory surgery settings. You will assess, plan, implement and evaluate patient care and relay information to physicians and staff.

Responsibilities include monitoring vitals, administering medications, documenting in SIS, and ensuring discharge criteria. Travel to multiple IL locations will be required; must have reliable transportation and IL RN license, BLS; ACLS within 90 days.

Qualifications

• Graduate of an accredited school of nursing; certification to provide required.
• Current RN licensure in Illinois with no disciplinary actions.
• BLS required; ACLS required within 90 days.

Responsibilities

• Receives patients in the recovery room after procedure.
• Assesses patient's condition, vitals, pain, and level of awareness.
• Plans and implements patient care; monitors recovery.
• Administers medications as ordered and monitors for adverse reactions.
• Checks operative site/dressing and reports abnormalities.
• Educates patient and family in post-op care; documents in medical record and SIS.
