Job summary

TotalMed RN is seeking a travel nurse for PACU - Post Anesthesia Care in Atlanta, GA. This 13-week travel assignment requires 30 hours per week with 10-hour day shifts. ACLS and BLS are required; 2+ years of acute care experience preferred for PACU care.

Travel RNs will monitor post-op patients, develop care plans, and report changes to physicians. Ideal candidates will have PACU experience and be able to stand/walk long shifts, lift up to 50 pounds, and cope with a fast-paced environment.

Qualifications

• ACLS and BLS required.
• Minimum 2 years of acute care experience.
• PACU experience preferred but not required.

Responsibilities

• Observe and care for post-anesthesia patients in PACU.
• Monitor vitals and report changes to the physician.
• Develop individualized care plans based on patient condition.
• Determine when patients are recovered and ready to move to a room.
