American Traveler is seeking an experienced PACU RN for a travel assignment in Rhinelander, Wisconsin. The role requires a WI or compact RN license, BLS/ACLS/PALS, and at least two years in PACU, with Epic EMR experience.

Shifts are 8 hours, days, 40 hours per week, for 13 weeks starting 12/29/2025. Responsibilities include working in PACU, floating to Tomahawk, Eagle River, and Howard Young, and on-call duties every weekend as needed.

Qualifications

• Minimum of 2 years recent PACU nursing experience.
• WI or compact RN license required.
• BLS, ACLS, and PALS certifications required.
• Epic EMR experience required.

Responsibilities

• Work in the PACU in a hospital setting.
• 8-hour day shifts are required.
• Must be willing to float to Tomahawk, Eagle River, and Howard Young.
• On-call once every 6th to 7th weekend and during low census.
• Call back minimum is 2 hours.
• Demonstrate strong teamwork and time management.
• Masking policy for flu and COVID vaccination adherence.
• Eligible for low census protocol during contract.
• First week GSA is not applicable.

• Must demonstrate effective time management, adaptability to change, and strong teamwork skills
• Social, dependable, accountable, compassionate, and positive attitude required
• Masking required for workers declining flu and COVID vaccination during flu season as per policy
• Eligible for low census protocol during contract
• First week GSA is not applicable
