TotalMed Allied seeks a travel Occupational Therapist Assistant for a Seattle, Washington assignment. The OTA will work under an OT to help patients of all ages develop, improve, or recover daily living skills, implementing tailored treatment plans.

Requirements include 1 year OTA experience, current BLS, NBCOT (COTA), and state licensure. The role involves direct patient care with a 13-week duration and 40 hours per week, with day shifts.

Qualifications

• Must have 1 year of experience as an Occupational Therapy Assistant.
• Current BLS and NBCOT (COTA) certification.
• State-specific licensure required.

Responsibilities

• Deliver therapeutic activities and interventions under the supervising OT.
• Monitor patient progress and report observations.
• Document patient performance accurately and timely per guidelines.
• Assist patients with exercises, mobility training, and use of adaptive equipment.
• Educate patients and families on techniques to improve independence.
• Maintain cleanliness and organization of treatment areas and equipment.
• Collaborate with interdisciplinary team members to support care.
• Comply with licensing rules and professional standards.
