Job summary

TotalMed Allied is seeking an Occupational Therapist for a 13-week travel assignment in Seattle, WA. The OT will evaluate patients, develop and implement plans of care, and educate families and employers.

The role requires a licensed OT with BLS and NBCOT (OTR) and at least 1 year of experience, though 6 months may be considered for exceptional cases. Candidates should be able to stand and walk for long periods and demonstrate knowledge of anatomy, physiology, and medical terminology.

Qualifications

• 1 year of OT experience required; exceptional candidates with 6 months may be considered.
• BLS and NBCOT-OTR certification required.
• Must have active state OT license and ability to stand/walk for long periods.

Responsibilities

• Evaluate patients and develop a plan of care to improve daily living skills.
• Create and implement treatment plans with specific goals and activities.
• Educate patients' families and employers on care and accommodations.
• Assess home/work environments and recommend improvements.
• Document patient progress per state and insurer guidelines.
