Job summary
HealthForce Healthcare LLC seeks an Occupational Therapist for a traveling assignment in Albuquerque, New Mexico. Start date is 12/01/2026 for 13 weeks, with a typical 5x8 shift from 8:00 AM to 4:30 PM in a skilled nursing facility.
Weekly pay ranges from $2,257 to $2,393, with guaranteed 35 hours per week. The assignment includes travel between facilities, licensing support, and dedicated recruiter assistance throughout the engagement.
Qualifications
- Active NM OT license or eligible for licensure.
- Strong communication and documentation skills.
- Experience in geriatric or SNF settings preferred.
- Willingness to travel for a travel assignment.
Responsibilities
- Perform OT evaluations and develop individualized treatment plans.
- Implement therapy focused on ADLs, mobility, coordination, and perceptual skills; monitor progress.
- Document assessments, goals, progress notes, and discharge planning in the EMR.
- Collaborate with nursing, therapy, and social work teams to coordinate resident care.
- Educate residents and families on home exercise programs and safety strategies.
- Support discharge planning and continuity of care.
