Job summary

TotalMed Allied is seeking a travel Occupational Therapist for a travel job in Wasilla, Alaska. The role runs for 13 weeks, with 40 hours per week and 8-hour day shifts.

Ideal candidates have at least 6 months of OT experience (1 year preferred); new grads may apply. Must hold BLS and NBCOT-OTR certification with state licensing. Strong assessment, documentation, and communication skills are required.

Qualifications

• Requires 6 months of OT experience; 1 year preferred, new grads may apply.
• Must have BLS and NBCOT-OTR National Certification with state licensure.
• OTs should be able to stand, walk, bend, and understand anatomy and medical terminology.

Responsibilities

• Review medical history and assess patients’ abilities.
• Develop and implement individualized OT treatment plans with goals.
• Assist patients with activities and adaptive equipment.
• Evaluate home/work environments for safety improvements.
• Educate family and employer on care and accommodations.
• Document progress per state and payer guidelines.
