Job summary

MedPro Healthcare Staffing is seeking a travel Occupational Therapist for an assignment in Anchorage, Alaska. The OT will assess referred patients, develop and implement treatment plans, and work with a multidisciplinary team to meet rehabilitation goals.

The position requires a Master’s degree in Occupational Therapy, NBCOT certification, and an active state OT license with CPR on file. Travel and housing support are provided along with competitive benefits.

Qualifications

• Must hold a Master’s degree in Occupational Therapy and have passed the NBCOT exam.
• Current state license as an Occupational Therapist / OT or active in process of licensure development.
• Current CPR certification.

Responsibilities

• Assess referred patients requiring rehabilitation services with direct patient care, evaluating medical condition, functional abilities, limitations and rehab potential.
• Establish and administer a treatment program with goals aligned to patient capacity and tolerance.
• Develop a plan of care for each occupational therapy patient.
• Provide skilled OT services/interventions per physician orders.
• Assess patient needs, plan, evaluate and modify care to meet OT goals.
• Collaborate with all disciplines to plan and evaluate team goals.
