Job summary

Fusion Medical Staffing seeks a skilled Occupational Therapist for a 13-week travel assignment in Towson, MD. The OT will provide comprehensive, evidence-based interventions to help patients develop skills for independent living, collaborating with a multi-disciplinary team to tailor treatment plans.

The role emphasizes hands-on therapy and family education. Requirements include an active OT license and valid BLS certification; a Master’s Degree and NBCOT are preferred.

Qualifications

• Valid Occupational Therapy license required.
• Current BLS (AHA/ARC) certification required.
• Master’s Degree in Occupational Therapy preferred.
• OTR NBCOT certification preferred.

Responsibilities

• Create personalized therapy plans based on assessments and goals.
• Deliver individualized OT interventions per treatment plan.
• Use adaptive techniques and devices to improve daily living tasks.
• Educate patients and families on therapy goals and strategies.
• Collaborate with interdisciplinary team for holistic care.
• Track progress and adjust plans; document in records.
• Engage in quality assurance and ongoing professional development.
• Adhere to infection control and safety standards.
• Assist in discharge planning for transitions to home settings.
• Perform additional duties within scope of practice.
