Job summary

Fusion Medical Staffing is seeking a skilled Occupational Therapist for a 13-week travel assignment in Waldorf, MD. You will assess patients, develop individualized treatment plans, and deliver hands-on therapy to improve daily living activities.

Collaboration with an interdisciplinary team and ongoing documentation are essential for successful patient outcomes. The role requires an OT license and current BLS, with additional preferences including a Master's degree and NBCOT certification.

Qualifications

• Valid Occupational Therapy license in compliance with state regulations.
• Current BLS Certification (AHA/ARC)

Responsibilities

• Create personalized therapy plans based on patient assessments and goals.
• Deliver individualized occupational therapy interventions as per treatment plan.
• Use adaptive techniques and equipment to improve daily living activities.
• Educate patients and families on therapy goals and strategies for independence.
• Collaborate with the healthcare team for holistic care.
• Track progress and adjust treatment plans with proper documentation.
• Engage in ongoing professional development and adhere to safety protocols.
• Support discharge planning and continuity of care in home or community settings.
