Job summary

Fusion Medical Staffing is seeking a licensed Occupational Therapist for a 13-week travel assignment at a facility in Lutherville Timonium, MD.

You will provide evidence-based therapy to help patients regain independence, evaluate needs, and design individualized treatment plans. Collaborate with a clinical team to ensure quality care, while keeping families informed and engaged in progress and goals.

Qualifications

• Active state Occupational Therapy license
• Current BLS Certification (AHA/ARC)
• OTR preferred or NYS-equivalent certification may be considered

Responsibilities

• Create personalized therapy plans based on patient assessments and goals.
• Deliver individualized occupational therapy interventions per the treatment plan.
• Utilize adaptive techniques and devices to improve daily living and work tasks.
• Educate patients and families on strategies to improve independence in ADLs.
• Collaborate with the healthcare team for holistic care.
• Document progress and adjust plans as needed.
• Engage in professional development and maintain infection control standards.
• Assist in discharge planning for smooth transitions to home or community settings.
