Job summary

Healthforce Healthcare LLC seeks an Occupational Therapist — General for a travel assignment in Canaan, CT. 13 weeks, 35 hours weekly, 08:00–16:30, in a long-term care setting, with weekly pay of 2,130–2,260.

Must hold CT OT license and degree; geriatric/long-term care experience preferred. Travel readiness, strong communication and documentation skills required; a dedicated recruiter and ongoing support are provided.

Assignment starts 12/01/2026; familiarity with regulatory compliance is a plus.

Qualifications

• Active CT OT license required.
• Degree from an accredited OT program required.
• Geriatric/long-term care experience preferred.
• Ability to travel for assignments and work a 5x8 day schedule.
• Strong communication and documentation skills.

Responsibilities

• Conduct OT evaluations and develop individualized plans for residents.
• Provide and supervise OT services to improve daily living, mobility, and cognition.
• Implement therapy sessions, monitor progress, adjust plans as needed.
• Document progress in medical records and communicate with the team.
• Educate residents and families on goals and home exercise strategies.
