Job summary

TotalMed Allied is seeking a travel Occupational Therapist for a 13-week assignment in Canaan, Connecticut. The OT will evaluate patients, develop care plans, and provide therapy across acute care settings. Requires 6 months of OT experience, BLS, and NBCOT-OTR certification.

7-hour shifts, 35 hours per week, travel position with tax-free stipend TBD. Candidates should be prepared to work with diverse patient populations and document clinical progress according to state and payer guidelines.

Qualifications

• 6 months of OT experience required; exceptional candidates with relevant background may be considered.
• Must have BLS and NBCOT-OTR certifications.

Responsibilities

• Evaluate patients and develop a plan of care to improve daily living skills.
• Perform assessments, document progress, and adjust treatment plans as needed.
• Educate patients and families on care plans and equipment use.
• Collaborate with healthcare team to ensure continuity of care.
