Job summary

TotalMed Allied is seeking a travel Occupational Therapist for a 13-week assignment in Renton, Washington. The role offers 40 hours per week with daytime shifts in a travel capacity.

You will evaluate patients, develop a plan of care, and work with a variety of populations in the acute care setting. New grads are welcome with the right background; state licensure and NBCOT-OTR are required.

Qualifications

• Must have 6 months of OT experience; new grads may apply.
• BLS and NBCOT-OTR certification required with state licensure.
• Ability to stand and walk for long periods; knowledge of anatomy and physiology.

Responsibilities

• Review patients' medical history, observe tasks, and evaluate needs.
• Develop a treatment plan with goals and activities.
• Assist patients with daily living activities and disabilities.
• Evaluate home/work environments and recommend improvements.
• Educate family and employer on care and accommodations.
• Recommend equipment and instruct use.
• Document progress and comply with guidelines.
