Job summary

Fusion Medical Staffing is seeking a skilled Occupational Therapist for a 13-week travel assignment in Galt, CA. The OT will evaluate patients, design individualized plans, and deliver evidence-based interventions to restore independence in daily activities.

You will work with a dedicated clinical team, receive comprehensive benefits, and enjoy support from a national travel network. Master’s degree and active OT licensure are preferred, along with BLS and NBCOT credentialing.

Qualifications

• Valid Occupational Therapy license in compliance with state regulations.
• Current BLS Certification (AHA/ARC).
• OTR/NBCOT certification preferred.

Responsibilities

• Create personalized therapy plans based on patient assessments, evidence-based practices, and patient goals.
• Deliver individualized occupational therapy interventions and treatments per the plan.
• Provide hands-on therapy with adaptive techniques and equipment to improve daily living skills.
• Educate patients and families on therapy goals and independence strategies.
• Collaborate with interdisciplinary team for coordinated care.
• Track progress, adjust plans, and document in medical records.
• Engage in QA and professional development to stay current.
• Follow infection control, safety, and regulatory standards.
• Support discharge planning for transitions to home or community settings.
