Job summary

Fusion Medical Staffing is seeking a skilled Occupational Therapist for a 13-week travel assignment in Walnut Creek, CA. The OT will provide comprehensive, evidence-based therapeutic interventions to help patients develop, recover, and enhance skills for independent daily living.

Responsibilities include creating therapy plans, delivering interventions, educating patients and families, collaborating with the healthcare team, and maintaining documentation.

Qualifications

• Requires valid Occupational Therapy license per state regulations.
• Current BLS Certification (AHA/ARC) is required.

Responsibilities

• Create personalized therapy plans based on patient assessments and goals.
• Deliver individualized OT interventions per treatment plan.
• Use adaptive techniques and devices to improve daily living activities and work tasks.
• Educate patients and families on therapy goals and strategies for independence.
• Collaborate with interdisciplinary healthcare team for coordinated care.
• Document patient progress and modify plans as needed.
