Job summary

Powerback is seeking an Occupational Therapy Assistant – Journey Traveler to travel nationwide for 13-week assignments, providing OT services under supervision of an OT, promoting independence and functional goals across diverse sites.

Graduate of an Accredited OTA program, NBCOT certified, licensed or eligible, with ability to travel and reside temporarily outside home base; Powerback offers mentorship, CEUs, visa sponsorship, relocation assistance.

Qualifications

• Graduate of an accredited Occupational Therapy Assistant Program per AOTA/ACOTE.
• NBCOT certification obtained.
• Licensed or eligible for licensure in the state of practice.
• Willing to travel and reside outside home base.

Responsibilities

• Must be able to travel nationwide for 13 week assignments.
• Implement occupational therapy programs under supervision of an OT.
• Deliver rehab services and document in a timely manner.
• Organize and facilitate treatment groups and patient care meetings.
• Instruct patients, families and caregivers in OT techniques.
• Maintain accurate patient documentation and report equipment needs.
