Job summary

Maximus is seeking Cognitive Enhancement Practitioners (CEP) to develop, implement, and manage cognitive performance programs for SOF personnel. The CEP trains in adaptive thinking, sleep, emotional regulation, and neurofeedback to optimize performance in high-stress environments.

The role requires U.S. citizenship and an active Secret clearance or eligibility, with home-office flexibility and compliance with security directives.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree or equivalent with at least two years related experience.
• Current LCSW or LMSW license in practicing state.
• Doctoral degree in Psychology or related performance psychology field.
• Active, unrestricted LCSW or clinical neuropsychology license.
• 3+ years post-doctoral experience in performance psychology with military or tactical populations.
• Experience with computerized neurocognitive testing interpretation.
• SOF/military experience preferred.
• U.S. citizenship and active Secret clearance or eligible for one.

Responsibilities

• Supervise a team of CEP professionals and ensure high performance.
• Ensure staff coverage for assigned program area.
• Serve as SME for CEP program and advise leadership.
• Develop CEP training priorities and embed initiatives into unit training.
• Train active-duty personnel in cognitive/behavioral skills and performance psychology.
• Provide biofeedback and neurofeedback training as directed.
• Document services in HP enterprise platforms (HPDMS).
• Support approved research under POTFF leadership.
