Job summary

Healthforce Healthcare LLC seeks a Certified Occupational Therapy Assistant for a travel assignment in Buzzards Bay, MA. Start 10/26/2026 for 13 weeks, with a guaranteed 35 hours weekly and pay between $1,430 and $1,572 per week.

The role focuses on activities of daily living, mobility, and functional skills within a skilled nursing setting, working with an interdisciplinary team to support discharge planning and safe patient care.

Qualifications

• Active Massachusetts Certified Occupational Therapy Assistant license or eligibility.
• Ability to work effectively in a skilled nursing setting and communicate clearly with residents and teammates.
• Prior rehab/geriatric care experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Deliver OT services to residents under supervision per the care plan, focusing on ADLs, mobility, and functional skills.
• Assess residents, set measurable goals, run treatment sessions, and document progress.
• Develop and adjust treatment plans based on resident response and safety needs.
• Educate residents/caregivers on adaptive equipment, transfer techniques, and fall prevention.
• Collaborate with an interdisciplinary team to coordinate care and discharge planning.
• Maintain infection control and ensure safety and proper documentation.
