Job summary

TotalMed Allied is seeking a travel Certified Occupational Therapy Assistant for a travel job in Haskell, Texas. The OTA will work 13 weeks, 40 hours per week, days shift, on-site in Haskell, TX. Requires 1 year of OTA experience, current BLS and NBCOT (COTA), and state licensure.

Qualifications

• 1 year of OTA experience required.
• Current BLS and COTA NBCOT certifications required.
• State licensure required.

Responsibilities

• Deliver therapeutic activities and interventions as directed by the supervising OT.
• Monitor patient progress and report observations to the OT to support treatment plan adjustments.
• Document patient performance and progress accurately and in a timely manner per facility and state guidelines.
• Assist patients with exercises, mobility training, and use of adaptive equipment.
• Educate patients and families on techniques to improve independence in daily activities.
• Maintain cleanliness and organization of treatment areas and equipment.
• Collaborate with interdisciplinary team members to support coordinated care.
• Comply with state licensing rules and adhere to facility and professional standards.
