Job summary

TotalMed Allied is seeking an Occupational Therapist for a travel assignment in Mound City, Missouri. The OT will evaluate and develop plans of care for patients to improve daily living skills, working in the acute care setting with potential for 13 weeks at 40 hours per week.

Requirements include 1 year of experience (6 months may be considered for exceptional candidates), BLS, and NBCOT-OTR with state licensing.

Qualifications

• Minimum 1 year OT experience; 6 months accepted for exceptional candidates.

Responsibilities

• Evaluate patients and develop plans of care to improve daily living skills.
• Perform home/workplace assessments and recommend accommodations.
• Educate families and employers about care needs and equipment use.
• Document patient progress per state and insurer guidelines.
