Job summary

TotalMed Allied is seeking a travel Occupational Therapist for a 13-week assignment in Lone Tree, Colorado. The OT will work 40 hours per week on days, with travel status and a stipend discussed. Immediate opening with requirements including BLS and NBCOT-OTR and state licensing.

Daily duties include evaluating patients, creating plans of care, and coordinating with families and facilities to maximize independence. Candidates should have 6 months of experience; new grads may be considered.

Qualifications

• Must have 6 months of OT experience; new grads are encouraged to apply.
• BLS and NBCOT-OTR National Certification with state-specific licensing.
• OTs must stand and walk for long periods and have knowledge of anatomy, physiology, pathology and medical terminology.

Responsibilities

• Review patients' medical history and observe them performing tasks.
• Evaluate a patient's condition and needs to inform care.
• Develop a treatment plan with specific goals and activities to reach them.
• Educate patients' family and employer on accommodations and care.
• Assess home or workplace to identify potential improvements for health needs.
• Document patient activities and progress for evaluations and reporting.
