Job summary

TotalMed Allied is seeking a travel Occupational Therapist for a travel assignment in Missouri. The OT will evaluate and develop plans of care for patients to improve daily living skills in an acute care setting.

Requirements include 6 months of experience (new grads welcome), BLS, NBCOT-OTR certification and state licensing. The role involves 40 hours/week, 8-hour days, travel assignment with tax-free stipend details to be determined.

Qualifications

• Requires 6 months of OT experience; new grads are encouraged to apply.
• Must have BLS and NBCOT-OTR national certification with state licensing.
• Ability to stand and walk for long periods; knowledge of anatomy, physiology, pathology and medical terminology.

Responsibilities

• Review patients' medical history and observe tasks.
• Evaluate conditions and needs; develop a treatment plan with goals.
• Educate patients' families and employers on accommodations and care.
• Recommend equipment and instruct on use; document progress and billing.
