Works in the Ortho/Neuro unit of a hospital setting with 36 beds Night shift schedule from 7:00 PM to 7:00 AM RN patient ratio of 5:1 with 8-12 patients per tech Team includes a charge RN, RNs to volume, 1-2 techs, and a secretary on each shift Uses equipment such as immobilizers, braces, and cold treatment devices Charts using the Meditech EMR Unit performs total joint procedures (knee, hip, shoulder) and spine surgery.
