American Traveler is hiring a Med/Surg Orthopedic/Spine RN for a night shift travel assignment in Colorado. Requires Colorado or compact RN license, BLS, and at least 1 year of Med/Surg/Ortho experience. ACLS and chemo/ONC certs preferred for oncology unit scheduling.

Position details include a 13-week assignment, night rotations 7:00 PM–7:00 AM, and floating between units as needed. Travel-focused role with housing and licensure reimbursements offered.

Qualifications

• Active CO or compact RN license required
• BLS certification required
• Minimum 1 year of recent Med/Surg/Ortho hospital experience required
• ACLS certification preferred
• Chemo/ONC certification preferred for potential Oncology unit scheduling
• No employment gaps of 90 days or more within the past 12 months
• US Social Security Number and date of birth required for consideration
• One professional reference required (two required for FL and MO candidates)

Responsabilités

• Orthopedic/Spine unit within a hospital setting
• 345-bed Magnet-designated facility with a float pool of about 80 staff
• Patient ratios of approximately 1:5 on days and nights, varying by unit
• Night shift schedule, 7:00 PM to 7:00 AM
• 13-week assignment
• Uses Meditech EMR
• Floating required based on facility needs
• Care for patients undergoing joint replacements, fracture repairs, and spinal injury treatment
• Opportunity to gain experience with both acute and chronic medical conditions
• Team-oriented, family-like work environment emphasizing collaboration and compassion
• Flexibility and willingness to float between units is valued
• Must reside outside a 50-mile radius of the facility; no local candidates accepted
