UCHealth UCHlth Broomfield Hospital in Colorado is seeking a Surgical Assistant/Surgical Technologist to support the operating room team on day shifts. The role requires a High School Diploma or GED, DORA registration, at least 1 year of experience, and BLS/CPR certification.

The position offers full-time hours with an 80-hour pay period and a $44/hour pay rate plus travel package/stipend. Local traveler options within 75 miles and 13-week assignments may be available, with a supportive

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED or Military Trained.
• State Surgical Assistant or Surgical Technologist registration (needs be through DORA).
• 1 year experience.
• BLS - BLS through the American Heart Association or the American Red Cross CPR for the Professional Rescuer with card in-hand before start date. BLS or CPR card must be good through sixty days of hire.

Responsabilités

• Prepares surgical operating suite with drapes, solutions, instruments, equipment and supplies.
• Ensures good working order of equipment and instruments. Assists with preparing, transporting, positioning and draping patients.
• Passes instruments to physician during surgery. Continually accounts for number and location of instruments and supplies during surgery.
• Receives and processes specimens for delivery to the laboratory.
