UCHealth Longs Peak Hospital in Longmont, CO is seeking a Surgical Assistant/Surgical Technologist for the Birth Center/Labor & Delivery unit. This full-time night-shift role involves preparing the operating suite, passing instruments during procedures, and ensuring timely specimen processing.

The position offers $44.00 per hour with a travel package/stipend and 13-week assignments may be available within 75 miles, plus comprehensive UCHealth benefits and professional growth opportunities.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED or Military Trained.
• State Surgical Assistant or Surgical Technologist registration (through DORA).
• 1 year experience in a surgical setting.
• BLS certification (American Heart Association or American Red Cross) with card valid through start date.

Responsabilités

• Prepares surgical operating suite with drapes, solutions, instruments, equipment and supplies.
• Ensures good working order of equipment and instruments; assists with preparing, transporting, positioning and draping patients.
• Passes instruments to physician during surgery; accounts for instruments and supplies during surgery.
• Receives and processes specimens for delivery to the laboratory.

Work Schedule: Full Time, 72.00 hours per pay period (2 weeks)

Shift: Nights

Pay: $44.00 per hour plus travel package/stipend

LOCAL Traveler contract options available for those who reside within 75 miles

13 week assignments available

Minimum Requirements

• High School Diploma or GED or Military Trained
• State Surgical Assistant or Surgical Technologist registration (needs be through DORA)
• 1 year experience
• BLS - BLS through the American Heart Association or the American Red Cross CPR for the Professional Rescuer with card in-hand before start date. BLS or CPR card must be good through sixty days of hire.
