Job summary

TotalMed is seeking an Operating Room Scrub RN for a travel assignment in Machias, Maine. This OR travel nurse will support surgeons, prepare instruments, and assist during procedures. 1–2 years acute care OR experience preferred; active BLS/ACLS/PALS required. 13-week assignment with 36 hours per week on 12-hour days.

Travel RN opportunities include competitive pay, weekly pay, and benefits. Must have RN license and be able to lift equipment as needed.

Qualifications

• RN with OR experience preferred (1-2 years acute care)
• BLS, ACLS, PALS certifications required
• Travel RN in OR Scrub role for 13 weeks, 36 hours/week

Responsibilities

• Assist physicians and staff in the operating room
• Prepare, handle and pass instruments in sterile field
• Monitor patient status during surgery and respond to complications
• Maintain sterile technique and ensure correct procedures are performed
