MedPro Healthcare Staffing is seeking a travel nurse RN OR - Operating Room for a travel nursing job in Machias, Maine. The assignment runs 13 weeks with 40 hours per week, dayshift. Start date 10/12/2026 and travel status as a contract position.

The ideal candidate will have 18 months of recent Acute Care Surgery experience, an active RN license, and BLS & ACLS certifications. Benefits include weekly pay, private housing or housing allowance, and full credentialing coverage.

Qualifications

• Eighteen months of recent experience in an Acute Care Surgery setting.
• Active RN license.
• Degree from an accredited nursing program.
• BLS & ACLS certifications.
• Other client-specific requirements.

Responsibilities

• Provide surgical patient care before, during and after surgery.
• Serve as circulating and/or scrub nurse as applicable.
• Assist in instrument handling within the sterile field.
