Job summary

MedPro Healthcare Staffing is seeking a travel nurse RN OR - Operating Room for a travel assignment in Machias, Maine. This RN will provide perioperative care for patients, functioning as circulating or scrub nurse as needed, with 40 hours per week on days.

The role requires 18 months in Acute Care Surgery, active RN license, a nursing degree, and BLS/ACLS certifications. Travel benefits include housing options, weekly pay, and health coverage.

Qualifications

• Eighteen months of recent experience in an Acute Care Surgery setting.
• Active RN License.
• Degree from an accredited nursing program.
• BLS & ACLS Certifications.

Responsibilities

• Provide surgical patient care by assessing, planning, and implementing the nursing care before, during, and after surgery.
• Serve as circulating nurse and/or scrub nurse as required in the OR.
• Circulating OR nurses work outside the sterile field; scrub nurses prepare instruments within the sterile field.
