Job summary

Cross Country Nurses is seeking a travel RN for the Operating Room (OR) in Des Moines, IA. This 13-week travel assignment offers 40 hours per week on 10-hour shifts, with a Level I trauma center environment and exposure to diverse surgical specialties.

You'll circulating and scrubbing on complex procedures, with required Iowa license or compact license, BLS, and 24 months OR experience. Travel reimbursements and private housing options are provided.

Qualifications

• 24 months of current operating room experience required.
• Active Iowa license or compact/Multistate license required.
• BLS (AHA) certification required.
• Schedule: 10-hour shifts, minimum of 40 hours per week, rotating shifts.
• Preferred Qualifications: Robotics/DaVinci, Trauma, neuro, ortho, gynecology, urology, transplant, plastics, ENT, vascular experience.

Responsibilities

• Circulating and scrubbing in a variety of complex surgical procedures.
• Support trauma cases and high-volume caseloads with minimal turnovers.
• Provide specialized perioperative care in a Level I trauma center across multiple surgical specialties.
