Cross Country Nurses is seeking a travel RN for the Operating Room (OR) in Des Moines, IA. This 13-week travel assignment offers 40 hours per week on 10-hour shifts, with a Level I trauma center environment and exposure to diverse surgical specialties.

You'll circulating and scrubbing on complex procedures, with required Iowa license or compact license, BLS, and 24 months OR experience. Travel reimbursements and private housing options are provided.

Qualifications

• BLS (AHA) certification required.
• Schedule: 10-hour shifts, minimum of 40 hours per week, rotating shifts.
• Preferred Qualifications: Robotics/DaVinci, Trauma, neuro, ortho, gynecology, urology, transplant, plastics, ENT, vascular experience.

Responsibilities

Job Details

• Certifications, Education Requirements, Degree Requirements, Location Requirements, and Years of Experience: 24 months of current operating room experience required. Active Iowa license or compact/Multistate license required. BLS (AHA) certification required.
• Schedule: 10-hour shifts, minimum of 40 hours per week, rotating shifts.
• Preferred Qualifications: Experience in General, Davinci Robotics, Pediatrics, Trauma, Neurology, Gynecology, Urology, Transplants, Plastics, Ear, Nose, Throat, and Vascular cases. EPIC electronic medical system experience within the previous three years preferred. Trauma Level I experience highly preferred; Level II experience required.
• Responsibilities include circulating and scrubbing in a variety of complex surgical procedures, supporting trauma cases, and handling high-volume caseloads with minimal turnovers.
• Submission Requirements: Candidates must have completed a recent travel assignment within the previous 15 months, with demonstrated scrub experience in Orthopedics highly preferred, and must provide a current drivers license and professional references from within the past 24 months.

Salary
