Job summary

Cross Country Nurses is seeking a travel OR RN for operating room in Des Moines, IA. Assignments involve 10-hour shifts, 40 hours weekly, Level I trauma center settings across multiple campuses, with cardiac, neuro, orthopedics, robotics, and transplant cases.

The role requires 24 months OR experience, scrubbing and circulating, Da Vinci robotics, and EPIC EMR familiarity. Travel nurses must hold Iowa or multistate license, BLS, and readiness for weekend on-call and rotating schedules.

Qualifications

• 24 months of current operating room experience; hospital/medical center experience prioritized.
• Circulating or operating room experience required; scrub experience highly preferred.
• Experience in cases including general, Da Vinci Robotics, Pediatrics, Trauma, neurology, orthopedics, gynecology, urology, transplants, plastics, ENT, and vascular.

Responsibilities

• Circulate or scrub in a busy surgical environment across multiple service lines.
• Work in a Level I trauma center with 16 OR suites.
• Adapt to float across campuses and perform both scrub and circulate duties.
