Job summary

MedPro Healthcare Staffing is seeking a Travel RN in the OR to support a 13-week assignment in Washington, Missouri. The position requires 18 months of acute care surgery experience, an active RN license, and BLS/ACLS certifications. Employment is travel-based with 36 hours per week and 12-hour day shifts.

This role offers travel compensation, housing options, and comprehensive benefits through MedPro. Clinician support and credentialing assistance are provided as part of the assignment.

Qualifications

• Eighteen months of recent experience in an Acute Care Surgery setting.
• Active RN License.
• BLS & ACLS Certifications.
• Other requirements to be determined by our client facility.

Responsibilities

• Provide surgical patient care by assessing, planning, and implementing the nursing care patients receive before, during and after surgery.
• The OR nurse / OR RN also serves as patient educator, circulating nurse and/or scrub nurse.
• Circulating OR nurses work within the operating suite but outside of the sterile field.
• Scrub OR nurses handle and prepare operating instruments and equipment within the sterile field.
