TotalMed RN is seeking an Operating Room travel nurse (OR RN) for a travel assignment in Springfield, MO. The role involves assisting in surgeries, pre- and post-operative care, and coordinating with the surgical team.

The ideal candidate has 1–2 years of acute care OR experience (circulating, scrub, or RN first assistant) with BLS. Candidates should be prepared for 10-hour days, 40-hour weeks, and a travel schedule with housing and stipends to be determined.

Qualifications

• 1-2 years recent acute care experience as RN in OR settings.
• BLS certification required.

Responsibilities

• Assist physicians and staff in pre- and post-surgery care.
• Monitor patient during surgery and respond to complications.
• Prepare instruments and equipment as applicable (Circulating/Scrub/First Assistant).
• Provide patient education and discharge instructions.
