Job summary

American Traveler, LLC. is hiring an experienced OR RN for a Level II Trauma acute care hospital in Alaska. A valid AK RN license and at least 2 years of operating room experience are required, with 1:1 patient ratios and Epic charting experience.

The position offers day shifts (4x10 or 3x12), weekend work, and on-call only for coverage gaps. Housing options and travel benefits provided in a Magnet-designated facility with 407 beds.

Qualifications

• Active AK RN license in hand prior to offer.
• Minimum 2 years of recent Operating Room RN experience.
• BLS certification required.
• ACLS and CNOR certifications preferred.
• Experience with 1:1 patient ratios.
• Epic charting experience required.
• Level I Trauma experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Acute hospital setting in the Operating Room department.
• Perform circulating and scrub duties across surgical specialties.
• Uses Epic charting system; surgical cases including general, orthopedic, neuro, vascular, thoracic, urology, ENT, gynecologic.
• May float to like units; on-call limited to call-offs.
• Work 2 of 3 major holidays; weekend shifts.
• Housing options may be limited; free parking.
