Job summary

TotalMed RN is seeking an OR travel nurse in Miami, FL to support the operating room team. The role focuses on circulating or scrub duties, assisting physicians, and delivering perioperative care from pre- to post-op, with 36 hours weekly on 12-hour day shifts.

Qualifications

• ACLS and BLS certifications required.
• Minimum 2 years of acute care experience as circulating or scrub RN.
• Additional certifications may be required before starting assignment.

Responsibilities

• Provide direct OR patient care and monitor during procedures.
• Assist physicians and perioperative staff in surgical care.
• Prepare, handle, and pass instruments and supplies as needed.
• Ensure correct procedures and patient identification are observed.
• Teach patients and families about post-operative care and medications.
