Job summary

Fusion Medical Staffing is seeking a travel nurse RN OR - Operating Room for a 13-week assignment in Dallas, TX. This role requires an OR RN to support perioperative patient care, with night shifts and a 12-hour schedule.

The candidate should have at least one year of OR experience, a valid RN license, and current BLS; ACLS/PALS/ENPC and CNOR certifications are preferred. This position offers travel benefits and support from a dedicated clinical team.

Qualifications

• One year of recent experience as an Operating Room RN.
• Valid RN license in compliance with state regulations.
• Current BLS certification (AHA/ARC).
• ACLS/PALS/ENPC certifications preferred.
• CNOR and other OR certifications may be preferred.

Responsibilities

• Prepares the operating room with instruments and sterile supplies.
• Assists in positioning patients for surgery and ensures comfort and safety.
• Maintains a sterile field and follows infection control protocols.
• Anticipates needs of the surgical team and provides instruments and supplies promptly.
• Monitors patient condition during surgery and communicates with the surgeon.
• Manages specimen collection and transport per protocols.
• Documents care in the perioperative setting accurately.
