Job summary

Fusion Medical Staffing-Nursing seeks an Operating Room RN for a 13-week travel assignment in Fort Worth, TX. The OR RN will support perioperative care, equipment readiness, and collaborative teamwork in a fast-paced surgical setting.

Ideal candidates hold an RN license, 1 year of OR experience, and BLS. Preferred certifications may include CNOR, ACLS, PALS, or ENPC, with comprehensive benefits and recruiter support offered by Fusion.

Qualifications

• One year of recent OR RN experience required.
• Active RN license meeting state regulations.
• Current BLS certification (AHA/ARC) required.

Responsibilities

• Prepare operating room and ensure sterility for procedures.
• Assist in patient positioning and safety before/during surgery.
• Maintain sterile field and follow infection control protocols.
• Provide instruments and supplies to surgical team as needed.
• Document perioperative care and handoff information.
• Assist with room turnover and restocking between cases.
