As the OR RN on assignment, you'll circulate surgical cases, verify patient/site/counts, participate in time-outs, and maintain sterile technique from setup to handoff.

Qualifications

• 2+ years of OR nursing experience
• Active Texas RN license

Responsibilities

• Circulate for surgical procedures and scrub as trained.
• Advocate for patient safety under anesthesia and participate in surgical time-outs.
• Monitor and protect the sterile field; perform counts and reconciliation with the perioperative team.
• Anticipate surgeon/team needs and manage supplies, equipment, positioning, and specimen handling.
