Job summary

Fusion Medical Staffing is seeking a travel OR RN for a 13-week assignment in Baltimore, MD. Start date 10/12/2026, 36 hours per week, 12-hour night shifts. Requires 1 year OR RN experience, RN license, and BLS.

ACLS/PALS/ENPC CNOR preferred. Competitive pay and full travel benefits provided. You will join a dedicated clinical team, support perioperative care, and ensure patient safety in a dynamic OR environment.

Qualifications

• One year of recent experience as an Operating Room RN.
• Valid RN license in compliance with state regulations.
• Current BLS certification (AHA/ARC).
• ACLS/PALS/ENPC certifications and CNOR preferred.

Responsibilities

• Prepares the operating room with instruments and sterile supplies for each procedure.
• Assists in patient positioning and safety according to procedure requirements.
• Maintains a sterile field and follows infection control protocols.
• Anticipates needs of the surgical team and provides instruments promptly.
• Monitors patient condition during surgery and documents changes.
• Handles instruments and ensures proper sterilization and disposal.
• Manages specimen collection and transport per facility protocols.
• Documents all perioperative care accurately.
• Participates in handoffs before and after surgery to ensure continuity.
• Maintains turnover and restocks the operating room per policies.
