American Traveler is seeking a travel nurse RN OR - Operating Room for a travel nursing job in Loris, South Carolina. The assignment runs 13 weeks with 40 hours per week, typically 8-hour days (07:00–15:30).

Start date is 12/28/2025 and requires at least 2 years of OR experience and an SC or compact RN license. The role uses Epic EMR, includes call obligations, and offers travel perks, benefits, and licensure reimbursements.

Qualifications

• Minimum 2 years of recent Operating Room RN experience.
• Active SC or compact RN license required prior to start.
• Current BLS and ACLS certifications required.
• Experience with Epic EMR preferred.

Responsibilities

• Work in the Operating Room department of a hospital.
• Case types include general, neuro, ortho, and robotics surgeries.
• Shift options: 5x8 or 4x10, Monday–Friday, 07:00–15:30.
• Required call coverage of 3–4 days per month and one weekend every 6 weeks.
• Utilize Epic EMR system for documentation.
• Prepare the OR and position patients for procedures.
• Perform circulating duties with focus on patient safety.
• Contribute to departmental efficiency and supply/equipment control.
• Participate in assigned call rotation and coordinate with team.
• Communicate with operating team and patient's family respectfully.
• Maintain professional environment and service excellence.
