Job summary

American Traveler is seeking a skilled RN for an Operating Room assignment in Florence, SC. This travel position requires BLS and ACLS, active RN licensure, and at least 1 year of OR experience.

Shifts are 12 hours (days), 6:30 AM to 7:00 PM, with a 13-week assignment and a tax-free stipend potential. Travel reimbursement and licensure support are offered alongside comprehensive benefits.

Qualifications

• Active RN license, verified in the appropriate state registry.
• Minimum of 1 year recent OR nursing experience.
• Certifications required: BLS and ACLS (AHA).
• Ability to work flexibly across various surgical service lines.
• Knowledge of computer programs utilized in patient care.

Responsibilities

• Work in the Operating Room (OR) of a hospital setting.
• Care for patients in General, Neuro, Orthopedic, and Robotic surgical cases.
• Day shifts from 6:30 AM to 7:00 PM.
• 13-week assignment.
• Prepares and positions patients for surgical procedures.
• Performs circulating duties and assists in and out of the sterile field as assigned.
• Ensures completion of the Safe Surgery checklist.
• Delegates, supervises, and evaluates activities of other team members.
• Participates in scheduled on-call assignments.
• Communicates with families and the surgical team.
• Maintains professionalism and high service standards.
• Contributes to departmental efficiency and equipment/supply maintenance.
