Job summary

TotalMed RN is seeking an OR travel nurse in Clearlake, CA for a 13-week assignment. The role requires 40 hours per week with 10-hour daytime shifts in the Operating Room, involving circulating or scrub duties and possibly RN First Assistant responsibilities.

Travel RN candidates should have 1-2 years of acute care experience in a surgical setting and ACLS/BLS/NRP certifications. Assignment includes travel accommodations and benefits via TotalMed RN.

Qualifications

• ACLS, BLS, NRP required.
• 1-2 years recent acute care experience as a circulating nurse and/or scrub nurse, potentially RN First Assistant.

Responsibilities

• Provide OR bedside care and assist during procedures.
• Support physicians and operating team before, during and after surgery.
• Coordinate patient education and post-operative instructions.
