Job summary

American Traveler is seeking an Operating Room RN for a travel assignment in Largo, Maryland. The role involves both scrub and circulate duties in a Level II Trauma center, with extensive robotic case experience required including DaVinci systems. Day shifts, 40 hours/week, with weekend/on-call rotations.

Ideal candidates have 2–3 years of OR experience, active MD-state RN license or Compact, BLS, and preferably ACLS. Epic EMR experience is required for charting and documentation.

Qualifications

• Active RN license (MD state or compact) required (per job description).
• BLS required (AHA); ACLS preferred (AHA).
• 2–3 years of OR nursing experience required; strong general OR and robotics experience.
• Skilled in both scrubbing and circulating; Epic charting experience required.

Responsibilities

• Perform scrub and circulating duties across multiple OR specialties.
• Support Da Vinci robotics cases and general OR procedures.
• Collaborate with surgical teams to ensure patient safety and efficiency.
• Maintain Epic EMR documentation and patient records.
