Fusion Medical Staffing-Nursing is seeking a travel nurse RN OR - Operating Room for a travel nursing job in Augusta, Georgia. The travel RN will support perioperative care, prep the OR, and collaborate with the surgical team in a 13-week assignment.

Qualifications

• One year of recent experience as an Operating Room RN.
• Valid RN license in compliance with state regulations.
• Current BLS certification (AHA/ARC).

Responsibilities

• Prepares the operating room by ensuring instruments, equipment and sterile supplies are ready.
• Assists in positioning and preparing patients for surgery.
• Maintains a sterile field and follows infection control protocols.
• Notes patient status and communicates with the surgeon as needed.
• Documents care in the perioperative setting and participates in handoff communications.
