Job summary

ARMStaffing is seeking a travel nurse RN OR - Operating Room for a travel nursing job in Johnstown, Pennsylvania. The RN will perform various nursing duties in the OR, providing direct patient care and assisting in surgical procedures within a multidisciplinary team.

Responsibilities include pre- and post-operative care, monitoring vitals, and participating in call duties. Licensure in PA with ACLS/BLS is required, 1–2 years of surgical experience preferred.

Qualifications

• Current PA RN license required.
• ACLS and BLS certification required.
• 1–2 years nursing experience in a surgical environment preferred.

Responsibilities

• Provide pre-operative and post-operative care to patients.
• Assist surgeons during surgical procedures.
• Monitor patient vital signs and report any changes to the healthcare team.
• Administer medications and intravenous therapies as prescribed.
• Maintain a sterile and safe environment in the operating room.
• Participate in call duties as required.
