Job summary

TotalMed RN is seeking an OR RN Travel Nurse in Gardner, MA for a 13-week assignment. The role includes circulating, scrub, or RN first assistant duties in the OR with 40 hours per week on 10-hour day shifts. ACLS and BLS required with 1 year of acute care experience preferred.

Travel position with benefits and weekly pay; ability to stand long periods and lift up to 50 lbs. Duration and shifts subject to confirmation.

Qualifications

• ACLS and BLS certifications required.
• 1 year acute care experience as circulating/scrub RN preferred.

Responsibilities

• Assist physicians and surgical staff in caring for patients pre-, intra-, and post-operatively.
• Monitor patient during surgery and provide education for home care after discharge.
• Ensure correct procedure and patient identity before surgery; communicate with families as needed.
• Manage medication administration and documentation; relay adverse reactions to the team.
