American Traveler is seeking an experienced Operating Room RN for a 13-week assignment in Massachusetts. The ideal candidate holds an active MA RN license and has at least 1 year of operating room experience, with BLS required and ACLS/CNOR preferred. Proficiency with Meditech Expanse and related OR equipment is expected.

The role involves day shifts (4x10s), on-call nights, and potential weekends. Travel, licensure reimbursement, and housing support are offered by the employer.

Qualifications

• Active MA RN license required.
• Minimum 1 year of Operating Room experience required.
• BLS required; ACLS and CNOR preferred.
• Meditech charting system experience required.

Responsibilities

• Operate in the OR unit within a hospital setting.
• Day shift 4x10 hours from 6:30 AM to 5:00 PM.
• On-call one night per week and weekends as needed.
• Floating required in rotation with facility staff per policies.
• Use Omnicell, Meditech Expanse, SBAR communications.
• Provide perioperative nursing care across diverse surgical specialties.
• Manage specimen handling, IV starts, catheterization, monitoring, wound care.
• Follow Universal Protocol and infection control practices.
