TotalMed RN is seeking an Operating Room travel nurse (OR RN) for a 13-week assignment in Cambridge, MA. This role involves circulating or scrub duties, with potential RN first assistant responsibilities, and a 10-hour shift pattern on a rotating schedule.

The ideal candidate has 1–2 years of acute care OR experience, current ACLS/BLS certifications, and the ability to stand/walk for long periods while maintaining patient safety and comfort.

Formación

• ACLS and BLS certifications required.
• 1–2 years of acute care experience in the OR as circulating/scrub nurse or RN first assistant.

Responsabilidades

• Provide basic bedside care in the OR setting.
• Prepare, administer and record prescribed medications, report adverse reactions.
• Serve as liaison between patient families and operating team.
• Ensure correct procedures are performed on the correct patient.
• Initiate and teach post-surgery care and medication management.
